Timeless Traditions

Antique detailing rich in heritage

Sache By Asif is best-loved and known for his classic reds, with gold embellishments of royal proportions and he delivered just that in his first collection for traditional brides, but with a contemporary twist. It was a perfect marriage of splendour and extravagance, with each ensemble excelling in its own right as a work of art. The modern look given to these timeless pieces included long kameezes over lenghas, open front kameezes and flowing peplum tops. The pièce de résistance was a stunning peplum top, finished with frilly layers, complete with a triple-layered trail, along with elegant open-cut hanging sleeves.

Enchanting Fairytale

Luxurious looks for lavish lovers

Asif’s second collection stayed true to the timeless styles of lenghas and gowns, but with a range of versatile colours, for various occasions. There featured some contrasting pieces, combining ivory and blush pink, along with a trend-setting pink and gold. Asif’s signature opulent all-over embellishments were ever present, giving them the wow factor. Scalloped edges and borders were seen which made an extravagant outfit look dainty at the same time. Dupattas were finished with cutesy hanging baubles. The Pakistani inspired outfits looked like they belonged to the wardrobe of a Maharani. Each piece embodied the modest essence that’s revered in Pakistani bridalwear.

Mehndi Magic

Happiness begins with rainbow colours

Mendhis are a rite of passage for every bride and a chance to let her hair down before the more serious celebrations take place. Colour plays an important role and in this joyful collection, Sache by Asif showed us just how fun mendhi fashion can be. Block colour combinations such as sunshine yellow, fuchsia pink and orange added personality while teal accents came through in all the designs. Asif opted for metallic embellishments, floral patterns and shimmering satin fabrics creating vibrant attire that embodies a party spirit. And it wasn’t just brides who got to visualise their mendhi options. Grooms were treated to equally flamboyant ideas such as colourful waistcoats featuring gold embellishments.

Enchanting Elegance

Prepare to captivate with luxury couture

Focusing on the beauty of Pakistani bridalwear Sache by Asif’s second collection comprised a delightful range of long dresses and lenghas that captivated the audience with their elegance. His choice of muted, soft colours with an iridescent feel made them seem almost ethereal as each model shimmied down the runway, sparkling under the lights. Crowd pleasers included a mermaid shaped blue dress with intricate gold embellishments and a classic white wedding dress; perfect for a bride seeking fusion registry wear. Purple and gold makes for a grand combination and Asif created a stunning lengha in his signature style featuring these striking colours as well as resplendent silver attire that had timeless appeal.

Rich & regal couture in tradional tones

Your thrones are waiting. In his finale collection Sache by Asif transported us to the bygone era of Mughal maharajas taking inspiration from the royal courts to create superior weddingwear that will make any bride and grooms feel like VIPS. Intricate embroidery was seen in flowing lenghas and smart sherwanis with gold and silver threadwork, beads and crystals. Each ensemble dazzled and there were gasps of appreciation throughout the unveiling of Asif’s new range.
